Skinnarby (Kinnarinkylä)
Skinnarby is a village and formerly part of the Pernaja municipality. Pernaja was merged with Loviisa city in 2010. Skinnarby is home to about 400 inhabitants and is located about 10 kilometres north of Loviisa. Most of the villagers live along the roads Skinnarbyntie and Paavalinkyläntie. The villagers' livelihood comes mostly from farming.
Mail stop was founded in 1.3.1901 and an actual postal station in 1.1.1920. All postal functions were cancelled in 15.7.1993. The below registered letter from Skinnarby to Helsinki (sent 16.11.1943) has a correct rate (registering was 3,50 marks and letter rate was 3,50 marks totalling 7 marks).

Kuggom
Kuggom is a small population centre just a couple of kilometres north of Loviisa city centre along the Lapinjärventie road. Kuggom has even today (2025) only about 200 inhabitants. It houses a famous educational centre (called Kuggomin perinnekeskus) with a history of around 200 years of educating people.
Kuggom received it's mail stop in 1.11.1902 (under the control of the former municipality of Pernaja) and a post station in 1.1.1907. Postal functions were cancelled in 1.9.1984.
The below postal stationery card was mailed in 11.1.1941 from Kuggom and was addressed to Helsinki.
